Museum of Catalogue history with eight rooms on handicrafts, agriculture, religious and daily life.
It is the emblem of Perpignan with its appearance of a small castle. Built at the end of the 14th century, this fortified gate was reinforced under Louis XI. Charles V added his stone to the building. From a watchtower, the small castle became a prison. Under its machicolations, it now houses the Museum of the History of Catalonia with eight rooms on crafts, agriculture, religious and daily life. Climb to the terrace of the keep for the view.

Un lugar con mucha historia tanto acerca del desarrollo del Chocolate como también de la misma cultura Catalana, los guías muy amables y con muy buena disposición para transmitir sus conocimientos todo esto sumado al buen nivel de conservación que tienen de su infraestructura, la maravillosa vista en 360° de la ciudad y a un precio muy accesible para la comunidad local y turistas que deseen visitar el castillo. ????
