Education Services Perpignan

The University of Perpignan welcomes students after the BAC who wish to study in the arts, humanities and languages, but also in many other fields. On a human scale, multi-disciplinary and open to the Occitanie region, the Catalan countries and the international scene, 9,500 students study on its campuses. Linguists can opt for a Licence Catalan, a degree in Catalan language and culture that covers the whole of the Catalan region.

Òmnium Cultural de Catalogne du Nord has been teaching Catalan for adults for over 30 years. For employees in the public or private sector, Òmnium offers Catalan language training to meet the needs of their professional activities in North Catalonia or for cross-border exchanges. The aim is to enable learners to discover or reinforce their knowledge of Catalan language and culture, so that they gradually acquire proficiency in Catalan and can speak, read, write and apply it at work.

The Office public de la langue catalane (OPLC) brings together all the public and private players involved in the teaching, development and regular use of the Catalan language. Its mission is to structure the learning of Catalan throughout the département. The OPLC offers teaching materials for teachers, resources for those interested in learning Catalan, and referrals to its partners.
