The two jewels of Catalan gastronomy are honored during this day. Bunyetes (a kind of round doughnut generously sprinkled with sugar) and olive oil. Millas bakers and confectioners make the famous sweets, much appreciated by gourmets, and many exhibitors detail the uses of the green fruit, and the flavors of olive oil. The day is punctuated by a Catalan meal, Catalan dances and horse-drawn carriage rides.

Bougnettes, habituellement très bonnes mais cette année très décevantes ,manque de parfum trop fines,je croyais me régaler et malheureusement ce ne fut pas le cas.....
