A museum housing the world's largest cork, as well as tools and machines used to debark cork oak in the forest.
barely 50 years ago, cork work was the main activity of the village, employing more than half of the population. Created by former cork stoppers and the inhabitants of the village, this small museum houses the world's largest cork stopper, 2.40 metres high and 1.30 metres in diameter. This museum goes from the cork oak to the cork and the multiple uses of cork. It makes it possible to find the tools and the machines which the old ones used to bark the cork oak in forest, to work this cork and to ensure the production of the stoppers.
