It is neither a reserve nor a zoo where animals are confined, but 37 hectares of freedom for happy residents.
It is located at an altitude of 1,800 metres, on one of the slopes of the Carlit massif. Walkers will take the long circuit to go around the park and observe deer, marmots, wolves, bison and bears. The walk is punctuated by picnic areas and photo opportunities. Families may prefer to take the short route to see some deer and bears, or follow the trail of tracks, the prehistoric trail or the botanical trail.

Closed in November. Low season: open every day from 9am to 5pm. High season: every day from 9am to 6pm. Free for children under 4 years old. Adult : 15 €. Children (from 4 to 14 years old) : 13 €. Group (20 people): 12 € (child: 10 €). Shop.

This portion of the enclosed mountain is divided into enclosures, almost similar to the biotopes of each species. The natural environment has been respected as much as possible during the works and particular sites have been highlighted. This is the case of the scree and granite chaos where ibexes and isards frolic, of the summit belvedere allowing to embrace an extraordinary panorama on the Capcir, the massifs of Madres, Cambre d'Aze and Carança, of the brook that the botanical path follows in its jumps and meanders...

Pyrenean fauna
A visit to Les Angles wildlife park, the only one of its kind in the Pyrenees, is an intensely rewarding adventure on many levels. As you wander along the park's trails, you'll discover all the animals that make up the Pyrenean fauna in their natural mountain setting
Pyrenean flora
The animal park at Les Angles is located entirely in a forest of hooked pines. This coniferous tree takes its name from the prominent hooks on its cones. The hooked pine forest is generally found at altitudes of 1500m to 2400m in Cerdagne-Capcir. It grows in sun or shade, on dry or damp ground. The undergrowth is colonized by herbaceous plants, shrubs and other tree species that thrive in the shade and acidity of the soil.
Ten plants representative of these forests are presented (see link below), and can be seen on the park's botanical trail (depending on the time of year).

La boucle de 2h30 pour faire le tour du parc se réalise sans problème.
Hi ha dos recorreguts, el curt marcat en vermell i el llarg marcat en groc aquest últim és un tram de 1,5km que si vas parant per observar, fer fotos o parar a menjar acaben sent unes 4 hores. A l'hivern deu ser espectacular de veure.
J'ai vu ours, loups, lynx et autres en "live" pour la première fois de ma vie ayant toujours refusé zoo et Cie....
C'était émouvant même si j'aurais aimé des enclos plus grands mais il faut être réaliste, plus les animaux ont de l'espace moins on a la possibilité de les voir...
