Just outside Elne, on the road to Argelès, the Tropique du Papillon is a large tropical aviary where several hundred butterflies from Asia and South America roam freely. The 800 m² greenhouse recreates the perfect original biotope, with its luxuriant, bushy vegetation; the temperature is 30°C and the humidity 90%. It's simply magical and dreamlike! The Mediterranean garden and the Golden Beetle complete the visit, offering 1ha of local plant discoveries. The ideal family outing!
