Bistrot de Pays offering Catalan-inspired cuisine.
L'Olivier is a local bistro located in the village square of Catllar (pronounced canar) since 5 years. A beautiful challenge taken up by a beautiful team in a small village away from the main roads (the RN116, the ski route). The cuisine is simple and generous and gives pride of place to the Mediterranean with its tapas and Catalan-inspired dishes. As in all good small village restaurants, the products come from local or organic agriculture. And then, on this superb terrace which modestly invades the village square, near the olive tree and the fountain, quite simply, one feels good there.
