The edifice sits atop a steep-sided rocky hill. Built in the 10th century and restored in the 19th century, it remains the most archaic example of a medieval fortress in the Roussillon region, having undergone very few alterations until its restoration. It offers a panoramic view of the village and the rolling hills of the Aspres. The fortress is currently undergoing major renovation work, but the interior of the château and its gardens are open to visitors, with regular events including nature workshops, shows and treasure hunts...

Visite agréable du village, à recommander aux amoureux de la vieille pierre! Ne pas oublier l'église Ste Maria en rejoignant le parking (forfait 3€)
La visite du château et du jardin botanique ce fait en 1-2h.
La visite est sympa et interactive grâce à la chasse aux monstres pour divertir et intéresser petits et grands. Arrivé en haut la vue est tellement magnifique qu’elle est inqualifiable.
Nous avons passé un superbe moment a visité ce petit bout d’histoire avec nos deux enfants.
