The edifice sits atop a steep-sided rocky hill. Built in the 10th century and restored in the 19th century, it remains the most archaic example of a medieval fortress in the Roussillon region, having undergone very few alterations until its restoration. The fortress is currently undergoing major renovation work, but the interior of the château and its gardens are open to visitors, with regular events including nature workshops, shows and treasure hunts...

Château petit mais agréable à visiter.
Parcours guidé et jeu de parcours pour les enfants.
Le cadre est magnifique.
Tarif du parking raisonnable : 3 € la journée.
Nous avons été très bien accueillis à la billetterie, avec le sourire et des explications claires. Des parapluies sont mêmes prêtés si besoin!
De +, des toilettes (propres et avec tout le nécessaire!) se trouvent sur le parcours du château, ce qui est appréciable.
A refaire, avec le soleil si possible ????
