With a terrace, the restaurant Le Jardin de Canet allows you to taste 100% Catalan specialties in Canet-en-Roussillon.
On the terrace, facing the Mediterranean or in the spacious restaurant room, you will enjoy fresh fish, shellfish cooked or a la planxa as well as Catalan specialties. But meat eaters be reassured, there are not only platters of seafood, lobsters from the fish tank or other fish in sauce, a meat menu is available and, among our favorite dishes, do not miss the pork cheeks with banyuls, a 100% Catalan specialty that you must absolutely taste during your visit to Jardin de Canet. Le Jardin de Canet is a seafront restaurant on the Place Méditerranée in Canet-en-Roussillon. The à la carte menu offers a wide choice of fresh fish, meat and seafood dishes. These include a plate of Bellota Iberian shoulder, marinated anchovies, red peppers, pan tomate... You can also sample Catalan specialties such as the delicious mariscade Royale pan-fried in parsley and flambéed in Armagnac, or cuttlefish civet with old-fashioned Banyuls. Other specialties include sweetbreads gently roasted in butter, with morel mushroom sauce... This establishment also offers homemade ice cream desserts, including Grand Marnier ice cream soufflé, ice cream sundaes and the inevitable bras de Vénus and crème catalane... Note that you can reserve a table on their shaded terrace. An excellent address for outings with family or friends.
