Cheap hotel in Banyuls-sur-Mer located very close to the beach
In the heart of town, facing a delightful flower-filled square, this simple, four-storey establishment is the oldest hotel in Banyuls. The owners will give you a warm welcome, but don't be fooled into thinking you've come here for the ultimate in comfort. The Hotel Canal is a good address for hardened adventurers on a budget, so everything goes together: no TV, no air conditioning, and some rooms don't have sanitary facilities, but the mattresses are decent and the rooms very clean. The beach is only a couple of hundred meters away, and swimming is guaranteed! The hotel offers half or full board. If you're a hiker, the GR10 Hendaye-Banyuls trail, after 500 meters of Pyrenean ascent, stops just a stone's throw from the hotel. For parking, try the Place du Marché, 300 m away, except on Thursday mornings and Sunday mornings, which are unpacking days.

Beau cadre, service charmant.
La carte des vins n’est pas épaisse mais remplie de très belle références, on s’est régalé on reviendra lors de notre prochain passage à Banyuls !
Impossible de dormir quand les autres hôtes se douchent a côté de votre chambre a toutes les heures de la nuit. Si on ne peut pas dormir dans un hôtel, il en perd tout son intérêt. En résumé l'emplacement et bon le reste doit être sympathique quand on a 20 ans ..

I stayed at Casa Dina after finishing HRP. The staff was so friendly and the ambience so nice and authentic. One of my finest stays! And as a platinum member of well known hotel chains, this stay is a memory to cherish ❤️????
