Located on the port Argelès, this bar restaurant with a very neat decor offers a warm welcome and a varied cuisine prepared with quality ingredients. The menu changes every season. "l'Améthyste" is ideal for a meal between friends or family, you can enjoy various dishes and seafood there. Guests often choose traditional and hearty "moules frites" with more than recipe, but if you have time, do not hesitate to choose fish ones, from local fishing of Argelès-sur-Mer mostly and divinely matched. As the address has also a bar, you can enjoy the terrace with its stunning views of the Marina with a drink in hand.

The waiters are squeezed as lemons by an owner who wants to make a maximum of table removing even a chair at the table next door while guests hadn't finished!! The waiter us balanced dishes on the table and barely responded us the questions that you set him because it was to take too much time! Finally I strongly recommended the gratin of the sea that does not have any taste and that I found a harper of " I don't know quoi"!! Without mentioning waiting 45min between the aperitif and the plate!! Everything for excessive prices! I understand that you need to make the most of this type of establishment during the summer but does not summon us however " chiens"!!! It's a shame that this evening place recommended by sly little minx that lost any legitimacy!!!

sorti des moules frites, c'est du niveau repas ouvrier ... en bien plus long : entree correcte, puis 40 minutes d' attente pour des calamars insipides, dessert ordinaire. ca ne vaut pas 23, 80; nous avions dine la veille a la "popote de mer" a la Rochelle pour 15 euros; la je comprends la recommandation du petit fute; ce n'est pas le cas de lAmethyste qui n'est vraiment pas au meme niveau.

Good choice à la carte and pleasant food, us etions four patrons and once the owner stopped making bar and does not accept all that tables to eat, staff very little friendly (but the problem probably comes moreover high)
