LOZÈRE DÉVELOPPEMENT

Lozère Développement, the department's economic development agency, was created on the initiative of the departmental council and the consular chambers to boost the attractiveness of the area. This structure, which has now become the agency for attractiveness, reception and territorial innovation, was set up to ensure the economic promotion of the department, business prospecting, the reception of new workers and the support of projects. As a privileged interlocutor for companies, Lozère Développement provides valuable support to all those who are in the process of creating companies in Lozère in the field of ICT or any other innovative industrial activity. Lozère Développement also runs the Lozère Digital Economy Pole. It has several activities to its credit: evaluating projects, working in relation with the regional and national networks of assistance for business creation, coordinating the incubation phase of the project prior to the accommodation of the company in the incubator or business park, facilitating exchanges between future entrepreneurs and the various institutions or regional interlocutors (Oseo Transferts LR), financial backers and any resource person involved in the project. Polen is also a building that can accommodate young innovative companies for two years.
