ABSOLU WOOD
It is because the forest covers 45% of the department that Absolu Wood allows itself to court its raw material, renewable to infinity. The company, created in 2014, offers stationery, packaging, hi-tech accessories and decoration products made from very thin sheets of wood. The manufacture of these cards, notebooks, notebooks and binders, boxes and cases, with a very natural aesthetic, thus borrows the codes of printing, but also those of cabinet-making and joinery: laser cutting and engraving, marking, printing... All tasks are carried out in Lozère by the Association pour la formation et l'insertion des personnes handicapées, which is part of Absolu Wood's social and solidarity economy approach. The start-up is also a stakeholder in the project Une forêt pour demain, which supports and encourages the sustainable management and exploitation of French forests.
