The specialty of Sète is the Tielle, which came with the first Italian immigrants from Gaëte to the Bay of Naples in 1850. If you are passing through Sète, you must absolutely taste it. At this address, one of the undisputed masters of the tielle displays this small (or large) orange-red pie whose soft dough, worked with olive oil, contains a filling of octopus, tomato and spices... a delight! You can also find mussel turnovers, seafood cocas and excellent pizzas or pissaladières.

Les Tielles de Cianni
Divinement bon, à chaque passage on en prenait une, les chaussons aux fruits de mer à goûter aussi tellement c’est délicieux, d’ailleurs souvent la queue devant la petite boutique. On recommande!!!!

Déçu par la tielle
J'ai eu l'occasion de tester 5 tielles différentes sur Sète, et j'avoue que celle proposée par cet établissement arrive 5eme de mon classement.
Le poulpe n'est pas de la région de Sète et on sent que les ingrédients n'ont pas assez mijotés, des morceaux insuffisamment tendres...
Pour moi, les 2 meilleures tielles sur Sète sont "la Cettoise" et "tielles Sophie Cianni et co"

Les tièles y sont délicieuses et les vendeuses très agréables. Si vous faites un tour dans le coin, c'est l'incontournable si vous souhaitez ramener un peu de Sète chez vous.

If you take a detour with Sete and wish to taste his spécialitées then address in CIANNI, tielles are exceptional and in the pure tradition I also recommend footwear mussels a real treat! 2.50€ rooms as well as the tielles, their quiches tomatoes goats are succulantes also, small envies, lunch on the go go there and I guaranteed you do not restaurants not be disappointed!
