Cirque de Navacelles, a large geological site 2 km in diameter and 300 m deep, home to a remarkable biodiversity
Fifteenth major site in France and listed as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO, the Navacelles cirque is a geological site of great splendour. It measures 2 km in diameter and 300 m deep. Its formation is due to the digging of the Vis river in the limestone plateau of the Causse de Blandas. A remarkable biodiversity is sheltered in these places, moreover of an incredible beauty. Among the hiking trails that cross it, we can mention the GR7, the GR de Pays Tour du Larzac méridional and the
PR Le cirque de Navacelles.

Un beau cirque
C'est vraiment une très beau spectacle que de découvrir le cirque de Navacelles. Après l'avoir admirer d'en haut, nous prenons la route en lacet pour arriver en bas et au eau méandre coupé. A ne pas rater.
