The workshop La lame de la vallée dorée-couteau Le Vernissé is a must for lovers of top-of-the-range handcrafted knives. Marcel Canals, the creator, designs and manufactures the "Le Vernissé" knife in his workshop. He makes a point of creating an entirely French model, using quality materials such as natural wood (cade, olive, boxwood, etc.), fruit woods (apple, pear, cherry, walnut) and exotic woods (ebony, violet wood, amourette). The workshop also offers demonstrations and tours by appointment. In addition to the famous "Le Vernissé-le-rustique" knife, you'll find other quality knives in the workshop's boutique. For knife enthusiasts, you can even take part in a knife-making workshop, where you'll learn how to assemble your own knife using the materials of your choice.
