Cirque de l'Infernet, a gigantic natural wall, ideal for a memorable walk to see the impressive cliffs
Gigantic natural wall, the cirque of Infernet, also called "the circus of the end of the world", is composed of impressive cliffs enclosing the upstream part of the Gellone valley. Between these walls and the Verdus, scree from another time forms impressive slopes. Vines and olive trees have taken up residence on the terraces of the south-facing slopes. To get there, you just have to take the rue du Bout du Monde which starts from the village square in Saint-Guilhem, then follow the path along the river. A memorable walk !
