The Saint-Chinian cooperative winery, founded in 1937, is run by a hundred passionate winegrowers. Since 2013, it has been combining exceptional cuvées with works by contemporary artists, an original concept called l'Art en Cave. Great names in art have already collaborated on this project, including painter Laura Chaplin, granddaughter of Charlie Chaplin, and Breton artist Eric Fleury in 2019. The paintings created on the vats are reproduced on the vintage bottle labels. A combination of art and wine that we love!

J'ai été très bien accueillie et conseillée sur des vins que je ne connaissais pas du tout, le caviste m'a bien expliqué tous les cépages. Les prix sont très intéressants en regard de la qualité des crus. Je recommande cette cave .

La visite est libre, l'accès donne aux chais où sont peintes de très belles fresques murales (celles d'Eric Fleury et de Laura Chaplin m'ont particulièrement touchées).
La dégustation est très complète, nous avons pu découvrir un très large panel de vin.
Merci à Thomas pour nous avoir très bien rensignés pendant la dégustation et au vigneron qui a pris le relais super aimablement pour continuer de nous faire déguster lors d'un encaissement.
La visite et la dégustation sont gratuits. Il y a un grand évantail de choix concernant les vins, mais également de bières et de produits alimentaires locaux.
