In 1870, Pierre Comps settled in Puisserguier and devoted himself to his vineyard between seasonal jobs. In 1932, he acquired the current estate with the help of his family. In the 1970s, he focused on quality, introducing grape varieties such as Syrah and Grenache Noir. When the Saint-Chinian AOC was created, he was the first to register vines in Puisserguier. Today, his grandchildren run the estate, combining tradition and modernity. The estate produces IGP and AOP Saint-Chinian wines, recognized by guides and competitions.
