CHÂTEAU SAINT-MARTIN DE GRAVES

This prestigious wine estate is nestled in the heart of the vineyards, just a few minutes from the centre of Pézenas. Its château, built at the end of the 19th century, is the property of Roger Santa, former CEO of France Boissons and former director of Heineken France. He fell in love with the place in 1999 and launched major restoration campaigns there as soon as he acquired it. Nowadays, the beauty of the estate is praised, as is the quality of its wines. A little anecdote: it was here that Johnny Hallyday also discovered the wines of the Languedoc region in Pézenas, he appreciated them so much that the famous Terre d'Aumes cuvée bears his signature.
