Water from the heart of the mountain cascades down the rock crevices. It brings a pleasant coolness, even in very hot weather... Passing the small bridge giving access to the site, you will overlook the greenway created between Courniou-les-Grottes and Mons-la-Trivalle (more than 30 km cycling in complete safety). For a few hundred metres, you will walk along the chestnut trees to the black poplars on the banks of the Jaur, crossing old orchards that have become orchid meadows. In spring, the serapias ensure their pollination in a very curious way! To seduce the foragers, they exhale attractive scents. The duped insect will leave empty-handed, without the slightest drop of nectar.
How to get there? When leaving Olargues on the D 908 towards Saint-Pons-de- Thomières, the site is signposted on the left after 1.7 km.
