Housed in an old bourgeois house, this museum tells a good part of the history of Olargues. Spread over three floors, it deals with all the themes that have shaped the life of the town, from prehistory to the trades of the past. You can admire exhibitions on the vine, the chestnut, the beehive, the old trades and discover old tools. On the top floor, a model room gives a better understanding of the workings of the forge and the washers' corner.

Originality
I discovered this small museum during the occitan festival " May that Mai" this day, the museum was closed, I was for the duration of the festival, so I returned. I discovered the culture of the Chestnut and autumn I upturned in this charming village to buy famous chestnuts, delicious!
