Castle of the Carrion de Nizas family, the major part is made of volcanic stone rubble and the decorations are made of clear stone
Cradle of the Carrion de Nizas family, this castle is located near the village church. It has the silhouette and features of traditional buildings with round towers. Its facades and staircase seem to indicate a construction from the end of the 16th century. If the main part of the residence is built in volcanic stone rubble, its decorations were made of light stone, especially those of its front door and the entablature of the cross and half-crossed windows on the first floor. The entrance opens onto a more contemporary staircase, it organizes its flights on either side of a blind core wall, the ends of which are decorated with pilasters. The dome and cross vault strangely mix on the first landing as if, in the middle of the building site, the builder had changed his mind, considering the initial project archaic.
