The Montmaur wood, located close to the Lunaret Zoo, offers a variety of sports fields
Located a stone's throw from the Lunaret Zoo, the Montmaur wood offers a variety of terrains for sportsmen. The 27 hectares of the area are covered by tree-lined paths and the relief allows runners to vary the intensity and difficulty of their session. Mainly frequented by joggers (3 different courses) and enthusiasts of its health course, it is also a pleasant place to go for a walk. Note that some of the outlying paths are also a known drag, so prefer the main arteries if you're going for a family outing.

Attention sorcellerie au bois de Montmaur! J'ai eu une très mauvaise expérience avec mon copain l'année dernière au bois de Montmaur. Vers les 4h du matin nous avons vu une cérémonie de sorcellerie dans le bois de Montmaur. Il y a vait une femme nue entourées de personnes vêtue de rouge. Cette femme était très jeune ( peut-être une mineure) Nous avons eu peur. Quand nous avons signalé à la police on nous a rigolé au nez !
Green and pleasant place easily accessible for Montpellier, mainly visited by joggers but also by families and walkers
