Esplanade welcoming passers-by in search of a bit of fresh air in fine weather

Located between Place de la Comédie and Corum, the Charles de Gaulle esplanade is one of the busiest areas in the city. In parallel to the shops and restaurants of l'Écusson, it offers a relaxing setting, a green décor and accommodates a series of historical monuments (Musée Fabre, Pavillon Populaire, Espace Bagouet...). We particularly appreciate the calm that reigns on the esplanade, its snacks and the many musicians who come for entertainment throughout the day. This space also serves as the setting for the Estivales (in summer) and the Christmas Market.

Idéal pour une pause dejeuner a midi
Les bancs qui ponctuent le parcours sont bienvenus pour manger a l'ombre , sinon il reste toujours le déjeuner sur l'herbe , mais malheureusement la fréquentation est mauvaise en soirée . Ce parc est un poumon vert a côté de la Comédie

Un lieu pittoresque pour se détendre, avec un très beau marché de Noël présentant des artisans talentueux. Quelques fontaines également rajoutant une touche de fraîcheur à cette place.
