LE REFUGE

The Refuge is a national association whose purpose is to prevent and fight against the isolation and suicide of LGBT youth. Created in Montpellier by Nicolas Noguier, it has been pursuing its objective of emotional and material reconstruction for 16 years. Located in the main cities of France, the local delegations welcome young LGBT people aged 18 to 25 who are victims of homophobia or transphobia and in situations of family breakdown. The organization hosts and supports these young people in their life course. The association offers psychological support and encourages participation in many activities in order to strengthen the integration and escape of its residents.
