Montpellier has thus joined the club of "velorutionary" cities. Velorutions are cycling events with a festive characteristics. The veloruptions are held monthly, normally on the first Saturday of the month, departing from Place de la Comedy for a short bike ride, but also on a unicycle, roller skates, in tow (drawn by a bicycle)... AURALITHE

Auralithe was created more than ten years ago with the aim of promoting art in all its forms through the creation and dissemination of performances, animation and pedagogy, in France and abroad. And more specifically: live the drawing and sculpture according to live models through workshops, internships and exhibitions. Drawing and sculpture, closely related disciplines, are addressed successively during a session: when a sculpture is completed, the next session is devoted to drawing, to deepen certain concepts. This association now has about beginner or confirmed members. They meet several times a week at two steps from the Boulevard du Jeu-de-Paume to tackle different kinds of sculptures: bas-relief, high relief and ronde. The workshops are moderated by Eric Chatalin, a sculptor trained at Charles Auffret in Reims, and then in the Decorative Arts of Paris. On a Sunday a month, Auralithe offers a 6-hour internship, with a living model, to deepen the techniques discussed.

Built in 2007, this stadium is located in the Ovalie district. Also known as the Yves-du-Manoir complex - in homage to the former rugby player and captain of the French national team - this sports complex belongs to the Montpellier Metropole and hosts the Montpellier Hérault Rugby club as well as national and international competition matches. Covering an area of 16,000 m², with a capacity of 15,000 fans, it includes 2 training pitches for rugby schools, and a training and competition stadium for the first teams.
