Montpellier being France's first gay city, gay and lesbian establishments or gay friendly there are many and many have on street without any inconvenience whatsoever. Located in the historic heart of the city, the Cubix is the last, opened in February 2014. The atmosphere is relaxed, festive and musical. The hotel offers themed evenings, such as on Tuesday traders'evenings, bear nights (mean gay men and boys) or sometimes Sunday afternoon, Tea Dancing from 15 hours. As the institution is not sectarian, everyone can drink a drink, regardless of their sexual orientation, as long as it is there to play and respect the difference. And, if you have a little slack, the Cubix also offers tapas plates.
