Located in the Palais des Congrès du Corum, the Berlioz Opera is a hall with optimal acoustics. This pink granite vessel designed by Claude Vasconi can accommodate up to 2,000 people who come to attend opera performances, dance shows and concerts by the Montpellier National Orchestra, seated in its very pleasant seats. The management likes to mix genres, presenting both the great classics and more contemporary shows. A section is devoted to young audiences, to help them develop an ear for the classical repertoire.
