CINÉ-CLUB JEAN VIGO

Every self-respecting cinema-lover of Montpellier has attended at least once in his life the ciné-club Jean Vigo, venerable institution more than fifty-year-old. The screenings take place at the Rabelais center - formerly the cinéma Pathé -, one of the oldest cinemas in the city. You can still imagine the "advertisements" curtain! The Cinémed festival team selects the films and leads the debates. Each year, a new favourite theme. In this seasonal programming, about fifteen sessions a year, often on Thursday at 8pm, showcases all mythical films, known to the general public or more confidential who have written the history of the cinema.
