Creative cuisine full of flavors to enjoy in a restaurant north of Montpellier.
Soulenq, in a former Japanese garden center with sober lines, north of Montpellier above the Route de Ganges. The restaurant boasts a luminous dining room and a very large terrace sheltered by an arbour and furnished in a contemporary style combining wood, glass and metal. The food is full of surprises! The welcome is warm and friendly, and the chef offers creative and flavorful dishes. It's a spontaneous cuisine that adapts to the market, with a menu renewed every month. For starters, a filet of red mullet à la flamme with a paimpol coconut stew, ras el-hanout
lemon confit harissa, for the main course, pot au feu of Aubrac beef with broth
grilled oxtail and vegetables, and to finish, a chocolate tartlet and
kalamansi confit with cocoa emulsion. The menu is created in conjunction with the wine cellar and a range of regional and international wines, including Vincent Pinard in Sancerre and Domaine Claudel. The restaurant also has a dedicated space for the wine merchant, where you can buy the bottles you want.
