Truffles and local cuisine to be enjoyed in a restaurant with a terrace offering a beautiful view of the gorges of Brian in Minerve.
When making your reservation, remember to specify that you would like a table on the terrace. The reason? Because you'll be dining above the Brian Gorge, and the view is well worth the effort. However, don't let the contents of your plate get in the way. We know that a magnificent panorama can be distracting, but in this case, it's all about concentrating and appreciating the chef's cuisine, which is based on two main themes: truffles (in season) and local produce.

Lovers of gourmet restaurants and known Chantovent before we were convinced for a pleasant evening, although it is a new chef and regional speciality. We heard good.
The setting is still pleasant, quality produce is very good, but unfortunately, little culinary research, and the service is simply deplorable! Staff irritated at the request of our share, and clearly makes this irritation feel. Thus a bad atmosphere.
Problems of cooking meats. I asked during the eating, cooked well ++, and a blue meat was served me! Half of us, embarrassed, was in this case.
Moreover, in dishes from some of us, ingredients were omis. Duck tournedos was completed by its piece of pan-fried foie gras only in some dishes (for the same dish of course)!
As for the starters, piece of foie gras my neighbour was not wider than a room of the 2nd! Whereas my part was much more generous (for the same entrance of course). Without exaggeration none.
The moment to pay the bill, we informed of our remarks to the waitress and the chef. The latter clearly did not enjoy our critics and sent to feed with a disconcerting aggressiveness! What can you expect from a chef who does not take into account the opinion his guests?
That splits me the heart, I loved much this front restaurant, but today I can recommend it to nobody. We are too disappointed to be treated therefore. We were a table of 9 people taking a menu 41st. This staff obviously forgot that its guest pays products, a kitchen, and a service.
Here we did not feel the passion of the trade.
Chantovent did not receive awards longer since 2007, and I am not surprise.

Having acquired a small foot on the ground in the regions, Chantovent is part of of the region. Each time we receive friends I make them discover this restaurant and their comments are unanimous on the quality and research of the cuisine.
The staff is very professional, with small treatments without being intrusive.
The wines (local) are excellent and very affordable price.
