DEPARTMENTAL DOMAIN OF THE BANKS OF THE ARN

To the west, in the Somail Mountains sector, the Arn flows through the heart of the Haut-Languedoc Regional Nature Park. Here, the Atlantic and mountain influences assert themselves, offering green landscapes surrounded by vast forests. Along the Arn River, magnificent mountain meadows, wooded valleys and wetter formations follow one another. Typical plants, such as the spotted orchid or the bistort knotweed, can be found in the light-filled areas.
