CHURCH OF SAINT PAUL

Fortified structure, the church is located at the corner of the medieval city wall. Its first Romanesque construction dates back to the beginning of the ^12th century, but it was quickly destroyed in circumstances that remain unknown. Rebuilt from the remains in the ^14th century, it was again demolished during a road raid in 1361. Its existence was punctuated by numerous reconstruction campaigns. Classified as a historical monument since 1919, the Saint-Paul church has been undergoing restoration work since 1965.
