Restaurant located in the center of the Zone Artisanale de la Peyrade offering a charcuterie aveyronnaise
La Pyramide is located right in the center of the Zone Artisanale de la Peyrade. Visible from afar thanks to its distinctive shape, its formula is well known to all, and it has to be said that the starter and dessert buffet has been a hit for nearly 40 years. It's an institution, as evidenced by the fact that every day no fewer than 250 people come to the establishment. The clientele is varied and heterogeneous, with curists, business people, families, locals and tourists all flocking here to eat well on a budget. The buffet in the center of the room displays Bouzigues oysters, whelks, shrimps, whole salmon, charcuterie from Aveyron and crudités, which you can help yourself to. Then you choose your hot dish from a choice of 7 or 8 hot dishes brought to the table (e.g. andouillette, grilled ham, monkfish tail, duck breast or cuttlefish a la plancha). The meal continues with a cheese buffet and a selection of desserts.
Ce ne fût pas forcément mon cas, je n'ai peu d'appétence pour les entrés en boîtes type Métro et idem pour les desserts surgelés ou en boîtes.
Par contre, le plat principal était Thau'p, de qualité et frais.
Le personnel très souriant, agréable et réactif.
Menus variés, prix abordable…
