NINO ROBOTICS
Founder of the start-up Nino Robotics, Pierre Bardina, a paraplegic following a diving accident, developed an electric wheelchair, a bit futuristic. This "seated carrier", as he prefers to call it, uses gyropod technology, like other very popular means of urban mobility. A system that allows you to roll or stabilize by simply moving your chest. "Nino" also has a removable handlebar for one-handed cornering, and an electric control on the side of the seat to deploy the stands. Very light - 39 kilos - it is also a connected "vehicle" whose battery charge level, speed or mileage are displayed on the phone via a special application. Concerned to change the way we look at disability, Pierre Bardina has paid particular attention to the design of his "seated carrier", with a very refined silhouette. Colourful and comfortable, it is entirely designed and manufactured in Clermont-l'Hérault. Nino Robotics has also developed "Nino One", a universal motorized wheel that can be fixed on most classic chairs.
