The land of Château Cazal-Viel has been used for wine production since 1902, when monks planted the first vines, hence its Latin name meaning "Old House". The estate often changed hands until 1791, when it was acquired by the Miquel family. The family business grew and won several awards. Situated in the south of the Saint-Chinian appellation, the estate reveals the richness of its terroir, vintage after vintage, grape variety after grape variety, whether with red, rosé or white wines.
