Promoting local products while respecting an organic charter is what the Biocoop chain of stores offers. You will find on its shelves products from local and responsible productions. The store is in direct contact with producers and processors, who are rarely more than 150 km from the point of sale. Among them are Le domaine Roquemale (Villeveyrac), l'Arbre à pains (Faugères) or the farm Le colibri (Vias).

Franck Piget holds this artisan bakery with his wife in the heart of the medieval centre of Balaruc. The whole range of pastries and pastries is present as well as excellent breads. We fougasse, local speciality, is prepared according to an ancient recipe that includes bread, we and spices… the rest is at the discretion of the master bakes! The product was awarded by the Hérault Gourmand 2013 competition. It also offers its services for weddings, baptisms and communions.

In the center of Balaruc-le-Vieux, just in front of the town hall, at dawn, Stéphanie and Yann's artisanal bakery-pastry shop starts up. The couple welcomes passers-by who have come to get their baguette, their assortment of croissants and well-baked pains au chocolat to share a good breakfast or even their pastries in individual parts or cakes to share. People also come at snack time. Throughout the year, we also offer galettes, royaumes, ice cream logs and special breads.
