CRIQUE DE L'ANGLE

At the foot of the village of Balaruc-le-Vieux, at the eastern end of the lagoon, the crique de l'Angle is a complex and precious wetland, rich in biodiversity, which has led to its classification as a Natura 2000 zone. A haven of peace for migratory birds, this area can be visited on tiptoe, under the amused gaze of seagulls, flamingos, egrets, herons and other wading birds. The lake has been left untouched, but a stroll along its banks is enhanced by a leisure area, a fitness trail and a mini-golf course.
