Museum featuring a permanent exhibition of wickerwork and its crafts, with over 1,500 authentic pieces

This museum, housed in a former 19th-century café, features a permanent exhibition of basketry with over 1,500 authentic pieces. Vallabrègues is one of Provence's last remaining basket-making villages. There is also an exhibition devoted to the different crafts. The visit can be complemented by a tour of the basketmaker's workshop, which adjoins the museum. Wicker, so soft to look at, is rightly back in fashion, and you can also buy your own piece on the spot.
