Je déteste les corridas,mais que cet endroit est majestueux, il y a des concerts en ce lieu.... beaucoup mieux qu'une corrida ????....

A well-preserved monument, that is a must for all history fans. A route is created for the visitors with checkpoints, where a carry-on audio device can be utilised to learn about the past of the theatre. The best part for me was the possibility to walk all the way up and have an amazing view of both the theatre and the city. 1 hour can easily be spent here. I also recommend buying a combined ticket, which includes entry to two other historical sights in the city (there are signs with this also at the entrance).

Tickets cannot be purchased one at a time, apparently only couples can visit! What is this rule?? Not solo traveler friendly at all! I’m super upset I only booked 2 nights in a hotel to visit this arena and when I tried to purchase tickets online the website only allows you to buy two. I contacted their customer support and they were super unhelpful, leaving me on Read after the first response. I only wanted an explanation for this rule!!!! Does not make sense.

Incredible site. These Romans were really something! I was at La Grande Motte and detoured to see this on my way to Marseilles airport. Unfortunately because of a concert preparation couldn't go in. If you are anywhere near dont miss it. There is also a Roman museum next to this
La Grande Motte dan Marsilya havaalanina giderken yolu uzatip gormeye gittim. Romalilarin biraktigi eserler inanilmaz. Maalesef konser hazirligi yuzunden icini gezemedim. Hemen yaninda Roma eserleri muzesi var. Yakinlardaysaniz muhakkak gorun.

No le doy más estrellas porque el acceso para personas con movilidad reducida estaba cerrado, y no sólo eso, al preguntar, nos dicen que es " en los lugares históricos no hay accesibilidad". Cuando la entrada es gratuita y se informa de dicho acceso. Recuerdo visitarlo hace años y tener un buen recuerdo de este lugar, que no me llevé ahora.

Anfiteatro romano muy bien conservado. Actualmente se aprovecha y hay conciertos y corridas de toros.

Intéressant, des arènes entières loin de l'Italie...des gradins bois et métal rajoutés pour les évènements...personnel sympathique...des explications auditives intéressantes.... attention monter dans les gradins est très périlleux

Fantàstic!!! L'hem visitat per primera vegada a aquesta Setmana Santa i l'entrada ha estat força econòmica. La visita es fa a través d'un codi QR que et va explicant la història a través de l'entrevista que li fa una periodista actual a un lluitador de l'època. Poca gent, visita tranquil.la.
Molt original!!Parada obligatòria per gaudir d'aquesta ciutat tan històrica que també té el parc romà més antoc d'Europa.
