Fuimos en julio en época de conciertos y al entrar a la plaza, nos encontramos con un gran escenario en medio y los pasillos de la planta baja cortados en muchos puntos. Osea para mí opinión no valio la pena pagar la entrada.

Está mucho mejor mantenido que el Coliseo romano. Tiene menos gente y se puede recorrer por todos lados. Vale más la pena que ir al de Roma.

Espectacular! Me llevaron a visitar la ciudad de Nimes y realmente no esperaba encontrarme un anfiteatro romano allí en medio,también visitamos la Maison Carrée, muy bien conservado.

It is not so big as in Rome :) but also Amphitheatre of Nîmes has no crazy crowds before you enter. We were in June (open 9-19) you can enter 30 min before closing if you no need audio guide and 1 hour if you need one. They have shop, toilets on 1 floor, signs everywhere. And after this summer heat so nice to be there near cold stones thinking about great history they witnessed!

Magnifique lieu d'histoire avec des explications très sympas.
On s'y sent comme à l'époque.
Seul bémol la préparation du festival qui dénature un peu le lieu, nous avons été prévenu par une affiche mais un prix remisé aurait été le bienvenu.
Je recommande malgré tout !

Una visita obligada si vas a Nimes. Hay sido fácil entrar y con el audio guía con el idioma que querías, se hizo la visita muy interesante y entretenida. Lo recomiendo!!!

The show may be entertaining for those who enjoy watching a helpless animal being tormented. We left halfway through — we couldn’t bear to watch any longer. Thankfully, the bull wasn’t killed or physically harmed, but it was clearly confused and ran aimlessly across the field.

Uma verdadeira aula de História! Estar em Nîmes é viver em um momento e um lugar da História Universal. Recordo-me que no áudio da visita, há uma informação de que a Arena é um modelo de inspiração para os estádios de futebol atuais. Un lugar muy bonito y bien conservado, con excelente atención por parte del personal turístico. Sin embargo, creo que las medidas de seguridad podrían mejorar, ya que no estaban claramente señalizadas y algunas zonas me parecieron inseguras para niños pequeños y personas mayores.
