For a weekend, the city of Nîmes activates the time machine to take us back to the Roman era.
For three days, and for more than ten years now, the city has been activating the time machine to plunge back into the Roman era. Re-enactments, based on solid scientific foundations, with more than 500 extras from all over Europe, take place in the arenas to offer you a glimpse of life in the ancient city. A different theme is tackled each year, delighting young and old alike, and approaching Antiquity in a playful and educational way.

Enfin un bureau de tourisme digne de ce nom à Nîmes. Très bien placé face aux arènes.

El local es luminoso, accesible para todos (incluye rampa, bucle magnético y folletos en braille), y además tiene wifi y pequeño espacio de tienda con recuerdos locales. Abierto todos los días, generalmente de 9 h a 19 h en verano (9 h–18 h en invierno), salvo festivos, así que puedes aprovechar cualquier momento del día.
Gracias a su ayuda, pude reservar la audioguía para las Arènes y conseguir un pase combinado con otros monumentos. Fue una visita express pero muy ordenada y sin pérdidas de tiempo. Si solo tienes unas horas en Nîmes, empezar aquí es todo un acierto.
En resumen: un espacio super útil, con staff eficiente, buen ambiente y recursos para preparar tu recorrido en un santiamén.
