Cultural associations Nîmes

The aim of this association is to establish a link between users of the Médiathèque and other libraries in the city, so that everyone can express their needs, ideas and criticisms as readers. It also works to ensure that Carré d'Art maintains its dynamic approach to book access, particularly in the neighborhoods. It also takes part in organizing public readings, guided tours of exhibitions, conferences and debates, and runs a book club.

The AVF (Accueil des Villes Françaises) NÎMES is an association under the French law of 1901 that promotes the integration of newcomers to the city and social ties. It offers a wide range of cultural, recreational and sporting activities, as well as trips and discoveries to be shared in good spirits. As part of a national network of 250 AVFs, it benefits from the experience and dedication of 10,000 volunteers and 50,000 members. It's an excellent opportunity to develop and forge links in Nîmes, in a warm, friendly and welcoming atmosphere.
