At the entrance to the village of Les Plantiers, the old mill, which has been inactive for a long time but still has its millstones, has come back to life. Around this witness of the past, young and old can discover a modern and playful exhibition presenting water in the Cévennes. The House of Water presents the paradox of rare and beneficial water, but also violent and destructive. From testimonies from the past, to tales and legends, to fun and educational games, everything is done to make everyone feel concerned and understand how important it is to take care of this resource.

Opening time and information on WATER HOUSE

Open from the beginning of May to the end of September. Open on public holidays. May, June and September: Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays from 2pm to 6pm. July and August: every day from 11am to 6pm. Every Thursday in July and August: guided tour at 3pm. On reservation for the other periods. Adult rate over 16 years old: 4 € for a self-guided tour and 5 € for a guided tour. Children's rate from 6 years old: 2.50€ for a self-guided tour and 3 € for a guided tour. Student, unemployed, PMR: 3 € for a self-guided tour and 4 € for a guided tour. Summer animation rate for adults and students, unemployed and PRM: 5 €. Summer animation rate from 6 to 16 years old : 3 €. Day package (animation + guided tour) from 50 to 200 €. Tourism & Handicap Label.
