Waterfalls of Sautadet with giant potholes, with sandbanks and beaches specially adapted for swimming downstream
At the place called the Cascades du Sautadet you will discover the formidable work of erosion of the stone by the river. A grandiose natural site, but difficult to access for children. Be careful on the rocks! Follow the safety instructions on the signs. The Cèze river has dug cavities called "giant's potholes", creating a network of rocks and peaks under water, unsuspected from the outside. Beware of the eddies upstream, which prohibit swimming. Downstream, there are sandbanks and beaches, especially suitable for swimming.

Grandiose il n'y a pas d'autre mot! Soyez tout de même prudent mais c'est un véritable bijou qui vous attend.

Un lieu intemporel et magique représentatif du Gard où chacun peut trouver son bonheur. Évidemment mieux vaut éviter la foule de juillet août. Sans quoi le site permet un dépaysement total.
Quite particular site, very pretty especially at the end of the day in the summer, you can see the diggings rocks and it is actually stated everywhere that it is dangerous, water runs quickly and it is possible to swim a little lower
