One of the major archaeological sites of Southern Gaul is now made of a town located on a rocky piton offering a superb panorama over the surroundings. The site formerly occupied by a Celto-Ligurian agglomeration and then by a Gallo-Roman colony reached its peak in the High Middle ages. Guided tours are proposed by the Municipal Heritage Service on request at 04 66 50 55 79
