The Mine Témoin in Alès is a testament to mining, industrial and social activity, with 700 metres of excavated galleries

Take a real trip down a mine and discover the striking world of the "gueules noires". For centuries, coal mining has been the lifeblood of the town, and this heritage is a must-see in the region. This is a very moving place of remembrance, where we discover the particularly difficult working conditions of generations of Alésiens, a true tribute to the children of the land. During your visit, you'll descend 700 meters into the galleries. Children can take part in a treasure hunt.

Lieu bien pensé pour la découverte de l'univers de la mine. Vidéo instructive et visite guidée d'une heure, parfait timing pour les enfants.

On a fait une visite en semaine pendant la période des vacances, pensez a réserver un créneaux car il peut avoir du monde pendant les visites.
