One day, two men decided to combine their expertise to create a brand of men's underwear, under the sign of innovation and quality. Georges Jonathan and Gilbert Sivel are as different as they are complementary. The first is a sales representative in Paris and passionate about advertisement. The second is a textile technician in Cévennes. Together they created in 1944 Atelier artisanal de bonneterie de Nîmes. The Second World War stopped their business, but the production resumed after the war with the birth of the brand Eminence, specialist of men's underwear. Successors of a longstanding tradition, their collections also call on the best innovation. Eminence was the first to offer coloured underwear.
The group employs several hundred people and produces more than 35,000,000 pieces per year, especially on its industrial sites in Aimargues and Sauvé, in Gard.
Products: Each model is the fruit of a handmade development and precise technique, guarantee of quality and an outstanding comfort. The quality and the softness of the Eminence cottons refer to the field of underwear. The factory shop sells most of the products made by the brand. Underwear, pyjamas, lingerie, hosiery, etc. at unbeatable prices. Also women's lingerie.
